Do you offer Delivery?
Yes. We offer Delivery and In-store pickup through our Online Market!
You can also find us on Uber Eats, Ritual and Cornershop.
What does Certified Organic mean?

Do you provide parking?
There is metered parking behind the Danforth Community Market owned and operated by the Carrot Common. Issues with parking or tickets should be directed to The Carrot Common.
There is also a Green P parking lot across from Chester Station and limited street parking on Jackman Ave and Hurndale Ave.
Beach Community Market
There are 19 free parking spaces in the underground parking lot at the Beach Community Market. Access to the lot is in the alley behind the store off of Southwood Drive.
What is the Carrot Common?
We were the flagship store of the Carrot Common, one of many retailers in the Common. The building is privately owned by the Carrot Common Corporation.

Is the whole store organic?
In 2009 The Big Carrot committed to organic by certifying some of our organic handling to the Canada Organic Standard. All processing at our cold-pressed juice line, meat facility, bulk and produce departments is certified to the Canada Organic Standard. Our staff are trained in organic food handling, we require certification letters from all of our manufacturers to ensure quality and we are audited annually by a third party certifier. Hot and cold food bar with many vegan and vegetarian options. Burrito and taco bar. Grab & go sandwiches, meals, soup, salads, snacks and rotisserie chicken.
Beach Community Market
Hot meal combos with both vegetarian and meat options. Grab & go sandwiches, meals, soup, salads, snacks and rotisserie chicken.

We only accept Toronto Vegetarian Association (link) cards on weighted items and soup in the Carrot Kitchen.

Why do you charge for plastic bags?
Can I bring my own containers to your store?
Yes, we encourage you to bring your own containers as long as they are clean and dry!
